Half of the world's population lives on less than $2 a day. Millions face starvation, sickness and death because they are too poor to survive. Hand outs help...but not for long. The real solutions to poverty are empowering, sustainable and found among the poor themsleves. What's needed is an opportunity...to work, grow, invent and thrive.
The Reckoning is creating those opportunites by providing small business loans to the poor. The average loan is $200. This $200 allows the individual to start their own business and sustain themselves.
